Does the rule apply?
💡 The Canadian CT Head Rule applies to: GCS 13–15, within 24 h of injury, with loss of consciousness/amnesia/witnessed disorientation. It does not apply (assess directly, CT as needed) to: age <16, anticoagulation/bleeding tendency, post-traumatic seizure, obvious open/depressed fracture, focal neurological deficit, unstable vital signs.
For teaching. Decisions and their basis are taken from this site's reviewed care pathways; for licensed clinicians/trainees, this does not replace clinical judgment or local protocols.
