  • Lateral/third ventricle + fourth ventricle + aqueduct signsLateral + third ventricle dilation, normal fourth ventricle, funnel-shaped aqueduct/intra-aqueductal blood or web
Data is taken from this pathway's reviewed node text. Work through the pathway step by step.
Step 1 / 1 · Lateral/third ventricle + fourth ventricle + aqueduct signs
Lateral/third ventricle dilation + fourth ventricle + aqueduct signs?
💡 Aqueductal stenosis = non-communicating hydrocephalus (aqueduct obstruction) → lateral + third ventricle dilation with a normal fourth ventricle (key differentiation). Progressively raised ICP, ventricles often progressively enlarge.
