Transvaginal ultrasound/clinical suspicion of IUA — next step?
💡 Intrauterine adhesions (IUA): basal endometrial injury (often postpartum/post-miscarriage curettage, infection, intrauterine surgery) → fibrous adhesions obliterating the cavity. Symptoms: hypomenorrhea/amenorrhea, infertility, recurrent loss, cyclic pain (with outflow obstruction).
