💡 여성 상부 생식기의 상행 감염으로(대개 성매개감염 관련) 임상 진단한다. CDC 최소 기준(골반 진찰에서 ≥1개 양성이면 경험적 치료): 자궁경부 운동통, 자궁 압통 또는 부속기 압통 — 성적으로 활발하거나 고위험인 여성의 하복부·골반통에 다른 원인이 없으면 치료한다(낮은 기준으로 치료해 불임·자궁외 임신·만성 통증을 예방한다). 임신 검사로 자궁외 임신을 배제하고 충수염을 배제해야 한다.
