📋 Case data
  • Post-stimulation · OHSS gradingSevere/critical (ovaries often >12 cm, clinical/tense ascites ± pleural effusion, hemoconcentration/thrombosis/renal failure)
Data is taken from this pathway's reviewed node text. Work through the pathway step by step.
Step 1 / 1 · Post-stimulation · OHSS grading
Post-stimulation — OHSS severity grade (imaging + clinical)?
💡 OHSS = an iatrogenic systemic reaction days after ART controlled ovarian hyperstimulation + hCG trigger (raised VEGF causes capillary leak, third-space fluid). US: bilateral enlarged ovaries with multiple follicles/cysts (peripheral spoke-wheel) + ascites ± pleural effusion. Note that post-ART pelvic fluid is not all OHSS (cyst rupture/hemorrhage/torsion can confound).
