HSG tubal filling and contrast spill?
💡 HSG injects contrast through the cervix under fluoroscopy to assess tubal patency + cavity shape (infertility). Timing: follicular phase (after menses, before ovulation). Contraindications: active PID, pregnancy, active bleeding, contrast allergy; antibiotic prophylaxis for hydrosalpinx/PID risk.
